Step One

Recyclable paper is gathered in offices and dorm areas and recycling areas all over campus.

Step Two

Staff at JMU places paper in a container to be recycled later.

Step Three

Paper that is transported from buildings is sorted into different grades on our conveyor at the recycling center.

Step Four

Paper is then transported from sorting line to the 40 yard paper roll off to be hauled away.

Step Five

The paper is then taken to the paper processing plant.

Step Six

Paper is compacted into bundles at the recycling plant.
