The Facilities Management department is a professional service organization committed to supporting the mission of James Madison University. Many of the things you do not see -- electricity, steam, water -- are there because of facilities management and its highly skilled and professional staff. A beautiful campus and clean buildings in a good state of repair are here to help you feel good about being at JMU, whether as an employee or a student.
Our dedicated housekeepers, landscaping staff, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, boiler operators, HVAC mechanics, painters, utilities service workers, motor transportation personnel, storeroom workers, engineers, and our clerical, administrative and management staff are here to support you in your day-to-day activities.
